The Biltmore Estate, a major tourist destination in Asheville, N.C., has announced it will reopen on November 2 after being temporarily closed due to damage caused by Hurricane Helene. The 8,000-acre estate shut its doors in late September to address repairs on the grounds and facilities, particularly in low-lying areas affected by flooding and the estate’s main entrance.
Fortunately, key attractions such as the Biltmore House, conservatory, winery, gardens, and lodging facilities—including its hotel and cottages—suffered little to no damage.
