Seattle-based Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines launch Atmos Rewards, a new joint loyalty program promising flexible status earning and Oneworld access.

SEATTLE — A new era in West Coast and Pacific aviation loyalty has arrived in Seattle. Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have switched on Atmos Rewards, a shared frequent-flyer program that officially opened to travelers on Oct. 9, 2023, according to a press release by Alaska Airlines.

HawaiianMiles to freeze accounts ahead of Alaska merger

Honolulu, Hawaii travelers using HawaiianMiles will face a Sept. 26–30 account freeze before the new Atmos Rewards program launches with Alaska Airlines.

HONOLULU, Hawaii — Frequent-flyer accounts tied to Hawaiian Airlines will go dark for four full days next month, a short blackout meant to pave the way for the carrier’s long-anticipated loyalty merger with Alaska Airlines. For Honolulu-based travelers—and anyone else who holds HawaiianMiles—the window from Sept. 26 to Sept. 30 could feel like an eternity if they are caught unprepared.

Alaska Air to fold Mileage Plan into new Atmos Rewards
